Nice And Hot - But Where Is My Coke?
Hi everyone!
I have a big problem. Since last April I try to get a LD, but never got one...
Since july I often WILDed and I got pretty far... but it always goes like this:
1. Looking for a time where I'm tired, but not too tired.
2. close my eyes, relax until my body becomes a little bit numb.
3. Then I see some stuff... but it's more like a weak day dream.
4. I get this funny shift feeling and for a few seconds it's like in a rollercoaster.
5. Then it stops and it's getting hotter and hotter, even if it was cold at the
beginning.
6. Nothing happens
I really think I'm close to a real one... but the 6. step is the problem... sometimes I wait more than 2 hours and then have to quit.

Welcome to the forum. That sounds like something. Mainly, just keep practicing untill the effect gets worse and worse. And then bam! It'll get so effective you're there!
Also - Coke?

well we need to know a little more backround to find the problem. First, do you do a WBTB before you WILD? about how much caffine do you take? or do you take any at all? What are your thoughts like? Do you get a vertigo/rollercoaster like feeling during the part where it gets hotter and hotter? It is your body that is getting hotter and hotter right? Do you change posistion a lot? and lastly, how many times have you tried to WILD?
answer these questions and i might be able to help you

I often tried WILDS... 30 times or so... in the morning, afternoon and evening. I always to stop moving when I start my wild... but I can't stop to swollow often. For caffine, I never drink coffee, but some soda with lot's of sugar and caffine. About the feeling, it's like I'm loosing my body and travel into my mind, but there is a wall that will let me go back to normal and yeah... my body is getting really hot and I start to sweat, also my heart rate is going faster. In every try I think about how to get in a dream... or I concentrate on my breath...

Why don't you try doing reality checks and practicing recall so you can identify your dream signs? A DILD may be easier to start with.

I started with dream recall and so on, but I had to take a break because of work. After that I could remember my dreams perfectly when I wanted, but it is like when I'm outside of the dream... before the break It was more like being in there. I also wanted to try wilding, because it's more interesting ^^;
