      The Present and Lucidity

(Like always, had trouble with the title)
Hey everyone, it feels like forever since I last made a thread... haha..

Well, about a week ago I came across a book called "making time" by Steve Taylor, which basically covers time dilation (proper term?), sorta like taking control of time, not letting it slip away sort of thing... I haven't read much, but it is pretty interesting.

The real reason I put it in here is because I feel it has some sort of connection with attaining lucidity too. It looks at how to become more aware of your surroundings, and worrying less about the past and future and focusing on the present. so I'm thinking, does wouldn't this go hand in hand with lucid dreaming? I have a feeling that this might help with LDing too.

...any thoughts or opinions on the subject??

You are so reading my mind... I haven't read this book (though im looking for it right now), but I have always had the feeling that unfocussed living (as I do, I try not to but my mind wanderes) has so much loss of clarity that life passes by unexperienced...

Every time I try to stay focussed, for a longer period of time, I lose it... Kinda a pitty...

I'll read the book and I am also getting the feeling that this would be an awsome addition to the Lucid dreaming practice...
