      Proper SP??

My third lucid dream was a DEILD. when i was lying still i felt a feeling of a wave of energy going across my body. As soon as this happened i was dreaming (still in bed in the dream). I later read that this is what you feel when you enter sleep paralysis.

Last night I thought I would try to enter SP again, but not to go lucid as i had only just gone to bed. Eventually i got that same feeling, but it lasted much longer (about 15 seconds), and it eventually faded. I didn't feel anything different afterwards.

Is this the feeling im looking for in SP

And when i get to this state in the night after for instance, a WBTB or DEILD, will I enter the dream straight away, or do i have to do more?

      Cheers,

      nick

If you are getting SP when you just go to bed which seems highly unlikely, I don't think you can go lucid, just end up waking up. You didn't feel anything different afterwards because you had just gone to bed. And your second question; if you managed to stay conscious enough (it slips easily in WBTB and DEILD) you will enter the dream, I mean LD. You don't have to do more I think. Because just like you did it before when you DEILDed, you can do the same thing again. But I would suggest WILD Belive me, I've seen the differences between DEILD and WILD. Get up 4-5 hours later. Stay up 5 min. Go to bed and wait for the SP. If it doesn't come, be patient. One way or another it will.

By the way, Don't get dissapointed if it won't happen. Some people do it after several attempts, some don't. Stay calm, SP might be extremely violent sometimes Have nice LDs

Well I tried it. And it didnt work first time but i managed it accidentally a bit later. I had the same LD i had last time, where my body was really heavy and hard to move. Then the dream faded really quickly.

I'll definately keep it up tho, and thanks a lot for the advice

You are very welcome "where my body was really heavy and hard to move. " this is the part you must do your best to keep focused. If you can, you will see the wonderland

Ok cool. What are some good methods of keeping my body focused? I tried rubbing my hands together, and it was really hard, like they had no blood in them. I also got up and tried spinning, but the lucidity was fading, and it eventually did fade.

They really don't work for me. I've just tried spinnig last night, didn't work I just say things to myself like giving a command "more vivid!, focus! etc." I think they are more convincing for my mind.
