Do a reality check right now!
Since coming to dreamviews I have been a rather lazy dreamer. Not committing to a dream journal and just taking lucid dreams when they came(which wasn't very often).
For the last few days, however, I have been doing reality checks like crazy, every 5-15 minutes. The results have been very good. Even though my dream recall hasn't been very good as I haven't been working on it, I have been able to remember at least one lucid dream every night since starting these reality checks. Even though this many reality checks can interfere with your perception of life in general, it can help greatly to induce lucid dreams. If you can attain a constant state of skepticism about your environment lucid dreams will come.

Ive had some intensive reality check periods to where i did them like you said like almost every 10 minutes during the day and it worked very well. But it was a bit tiresom... and the RC became a bit washed out where they didnt seemed so powerfull compared to when doing them now and then. But it worked and i really forgot that. So maybe il try again.
Do a reality check! xD
Lol, yeah. Iīd take the advice that one of the moderators gave me. How frequently you do them isnīt as important as how much meaning you put into each and every one of them. Try to perform RCs with some serious reflection, not just in a light-mannered way and try to test reality in every way you can.
I think its better if your do lesser but really thorough RCs than one every 10 minutes but without any interest or just cuz its a routine.

Yes, I love you all! ^^
One problem I have with Reality Checks is that I work at home, so I normally don't run across anything "unusual" during the day that would make me wonder if I'm dreaming. I also never dream about being at home, and since that's where I spend most of my time, it's kinda hard to "wonder" if I'm dreaming while I'm here.
Because of this, I've had trouble sticking with RC's for more than a week. I just couldn't convince myself I might dreaming while I'm at home, so there seemed to be no point in it.
So now I'm trying something new:
As frequently as I can remember (so far about 10-30 times a day) I carefully look at my hands and tell myself, "When I am dreaming, I look at my hands and realize that I'm dreaming." Then I look around to make sure this isn't one of those times I'm dreaming.
Somehow, saying the affirmation seems help me think that maybe I really am dreaming this time.
I've only been trying it for 4 days now, so no results yet. But I've got my fingers crossed (Wait do I? Lemme check... Yep, they're crossed!)...
