      Reality Checks

It says in the quick start tutorial "Ancient Tibetan monks stated that if you are to learn to question whether you are dreaming, you must ask no fewer than twenty-one times each day while awake." Is it really necessary to do this many RCs during the day?

Also, a number of people have recommended that I look at my hands when I'm dreaming. Is this an appropriate RC to do during the day as well?

Yeah, looking at your hands, rubbing your hands, or spinning is very effective. I had my second lucid dream last night, it started to fade and as soon as i rubbed my hands together everything became for more clear. you can also just focus on a dream object.

rampage, I only reality check when I see, do or experience something out of the ordinary.. but I guess doing that many could be beneficial.

FYI.. there is also a thread on the various reality checks in the Tutorial Forum: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=4470
