Reality checks at the office
Hi, I was wondering if I could get some help on this issue. I've been training myself to do reality checks during the day. According to my dream journal, I dream EVERY night about people in my office or being in my office, but the office is different somehow. This seems like an obvious dreamsign.
The problem is, the next day, when I'm at my office, how do I do a reality check? I could do one when I see a co-worker, but I see them all day along. Checking reality then gets old, and I get jaded, and I only do it half-heartedly. I'm usually pretty busy too, thinking of many other things at the same time.
Any ideas on another technique(s) I could use? Remember, I usually record 2 dreams per night, and one is always about work, either co-workers or my office. (Yeah, so I feel like I'm always at work 24 hrs a day!)
(PS: most nights I wake at 4am, record dreams, stay up for 30min, return to bed with mneumonics, MILD)
Any help?
I feel as though I need to change my strategy...

Maybe get a watch alarm to beep every hour(most watches have this option) and do a reality check whenever it goes off. I always pinch m nose closed and try breathing through it. That reality check has always worked for me. If you make doing reality checks part of your everyday schedule at work youre bound to do it in your dreams sometime.

Is there a certain person that only shows up once in a while, like maybe your boss, who you could use to cue your RCs? OR, if you see everyone all the time, how about doing an RC every time you see them doing a certain something (something they also do commonly in your dreams), eg. opening a cabinet, writing something down, picking their nose ect.

Great ideas from you both. I think doing RCs when I see a certain co-worker might help. How involved do you get when you do a RC? It usually takes me a few seconds, I look at things, feel things, then read something...
