lastly, there is alot of fake tech's out there, i can tell you that keeping yourself awke as logn as possiable but letting your body fall asleep is fake.
Dont even bother trying this imo.
Hi im new to forum but ive always had an interest in lucid dreaming.
Basicaly ive found a few techniques that work well for me and i can pretty much ludic dream everyday if i chose too.
1. Most Lucid dreams i create are by simply waking up in the morning and changing beds and going back to sleep. i have a nearly 100% success rate.
2. By often telling yourself that you are going to have a lucid dream before you go to sleep is another tech i use, bascialy by telling myself im goign to have one when i start dreaming because this thought is in my memory i can often snap myself out of a regualr dream and take over it because my mind remeber that ive been telling myself to lucid dream.
3. draw somthing on ya hand and keep checking it, this is similar to tech 2 but with a visual representation, if you keep checking ya hand for say a cross when yuor in a dream sometimes you will do this and when you look at ya hand and see no mark it can triger your real mind because you dont see the mark and it is enough to wake you inside ya dreamign state.
4. ok this sounds new agish, but i read once that crystals helped, so once i was at the local markets and bought some crappy quatz crystals, anyway i use to put one or two under my pillow and i realy think i had a 100% strike rate with this tech, though it could just be a placebo effect it did work for me.
5. remind yourself to try read somthign in a dream, when you read somthign twice youl often notice it has changed and this can trigger you to lucid dream.
Now heres the killer, i cant hold my lucid dreams for too long but boy do i make the most out of it, ive read by others who can lucid dream that they have the same problem ive tried rubbing my hands together whilst in a lucid dream to try keep it goign but infact i think trying to stay in the lucid dream makes it worse and wakes you up faster.
So heres my big tip for you readers, basicaly dont try too hard to lucid dream or remind yourself your in one, get to the point where you know ya in a dream and then just go with the flow, your dream should turn into somthing of its own, aka like a normal dream, the only difference is you can now fly at will and do other cool things. By not focusing on trying to hold a lucid dream you will nfact hold the dream for longer. Anyway if people have a real tech of how to keep ya lucid dream goign longer please reply and ill give it a shot or provide soem feedback.
This is a real post so please take it seriously and if you want to lucid dream i highly recommend you try what ive suggested, its worked well and ive spent mannnnnny years perfecting this.
and on a lastnote, ive also taught myself how to escape nightmares, ive developed the ability to open my eyes at will and snap myself out of dreams whenever i want, I taught myself this when i was a boy when id have OBE kind of dreams that would scare the shit out of me.
anyway now this is a rant,, just follow my steps and let me know.
Regards
Ruff

these have all been introduced before. They are your technique. And what works for one may not work for another. I know for a fact that number 1 doesnt work for me.1. Most Lucid dreams i create are by simply waking up in the morning and changing beds and going back to sleep. i have a nearly 100% success rate.
2. you are saying the WILD technique is a fake?lastly, there is alot of fake tech's out there, i can tell you that keeping yourself awke as logn as possiable but letting your body fall asleep is fake.
Dont even bother trying this imo.that is my main technique i use to get into a LD. Just because you cant do it doesnt mean its fake

seems like WILD is a fad on this forum, and i think people can lie also. lying still for ages isint going to make you lucid dream sorry.
I think U mean WILD? IMO there is no standard way of getting lucid dreams...it always changes because the mind changes. One tech may work for a while or even once and the next time U use it the 'magic' is gone as for my case..I had used up more than several 'methods' to have them....like disposable gloves. But I disagree that U say WILD if that's what Ur refering to as fake..I did have my close call with a WILD..U just gotta catch the moment when Ur mind turns itself off like a light switch. U will notice as Ur counting that U suddenly loose conciousness and begin seeing the dream...tricky but not fake...

alright alright maybe i sounded it little..."strong". But i dont like being called a lier. Which essentually is what he is calling me cause i use the WILD technique.I wouldnt use as strong words as u used, still the same goes for all absolute ideas formulated here. Hmm. Maybe he has got some reason to call WILDs fake. Would be find if we found the answer to this question before we make any judgement.
The only reason why i think he would call WILD fake is because he cant do it. But me and countless others out there including stephen laberge can WILD, and just because one person can't do it, doesnt mean its fake.

can say what you like but ya wasting ya time and deluding yourself if you think laying still for hours is going to make you go into a magical lucid dream state, realy the only way to do it is to wake up inside a dream.
People can claim many things on the forum, but what i can claim is some real life techs that work and you should give them a shot if ya serious about learning to lucid dream.
ruff, WILD is a real technique and there are many tutorials on it. Perhaps you should do your research? I am not going to argue with you on WILD anymore cause you obviously cant face the facts. The techniques you posted are just watered down versions of techniques we already have here. except for this onewhich isnt a technique.1. Most Lucid dreams i create are by simply waking up in the morning and changing beds and going back to sleep. i have a nearly 100% success rate.
I noticed you didnt even mention WBTB as one of your magical techniques. is that fake too?

Ahh its a very real technique that you should try.
I just read the WBTB and i have been doing it for a long time just i dont stay up aslong simply goign to a diff bed and straight back to sleep is enough for me.
And i did experiment with WILD a logn time ago, best i got was fuzzy feelign throughout my body, which had nothign to do with lucid dreaming, its just restless feeling ya get and you fight it back by stopping yourself from moving.
Have fun![]()

I tried to make a defensive stance to support the discussion here. But how can we discuss, if we cannot find common point. Thats senseless. I know people, who can do WILD and thats their success story. But i am one of those, who didnt achieve WILD till now. Still there is no reason why to kill the technique using this words.
Is not there a possibility for you to accept the existence of WILD and continue giving us your personal experience {rather than another technique}? Would be nice if we would end this senseless dialogue and move on to whats more interesting.
What brought you to the state you dont accept WILD as a technique?
Whats the technique you like?
Please be as much subjective as you can. People here are pretty bad about being too objective withouth knowing the background.
Thanx for now.

Well. You are right about it being a mix of techniques. But .... Actually. You readed more posts than me - Did you like the posts about the techniques? I find them to be pretty hmmm. Empty. I dont know the people whose techniques i am taking for granted. Are they to be respected? I know. What you could write. And would probably agree if you told me, that these techniques are written by people who have the experience. Still. I dont know them. I could call what they write just generalisations of their exprience. Would be nice, if we gave ruff the possibility to write his own story which made him come to this technique. I know it would be probably a long post, but in my opinion. It would give us much more sense.
Thx.

See, this is what I mean about contradictory information. Your original post was a good one, but this one is crap. I read Jeff777's thread and at least half a dozen people are having great success with tricking their body into falling asleep. I'm having very modest success.
In dreams of unspeakable joy—of restored friendships; of revived embraces; of love which said it had never died; of faces that had vanished long ago, yet said with smiling lips that they knew nothing of the grave; of pardons implored, and granted with such bursting floods of love, that I was almost glad I had sinned—thus I passed through this wondrous twilight. —George MacDonald

ruff, I find it interesting that you join a forum and within your first few posts call people who use a "proven" technique by not only members here but Stephen Laberge himself "liars".
I WILD and I'm no liar nor am I deluded. I consider myself very open minded.. you might consider trying to be before you alienate half a forum you just joined.

Free DreamJournal Program ~ Thanks Banhurt

I have a lot to say about this.
1. A lot of these techniques are very old.
2. Why do you think dozens of people would just lie?
3. From what I've read about WILDs, you didn't get all the way to the correct point.
4. You expect people to believe you, who just signed up for this forum, rather than people who have more posts, better constructed posts, and have been here longer?
Wow, just wow.
Wow. Your not really getting much new out of here....
1) Thats called a Wake-Back-To-Bed
2) That's called Auto-Suggestion and MILD
3) Thats called a reality check
4) You're a complete moron. Try to learn how to type in full sentences, try to get to know a little bit about your subject before you go dismissing other techniques. And just so you know, WILD is a proven fact. You do infact go through Sleep Paralysis and can enter it consciouslly if induced properly.
So congratulations on pissing off everyone on your first post.
You do this every fucking time.
No sweat.
No tears.
No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.

ruff its great that you want to share your tech's with us and many of them are knowni'd be careful though about what you say, many people use WILD and to my knowledge it works. its not a good idea to call everyone liars when what they do has been proved and works. sure people can lie but do you honestly think 75% of the people here lie about what they do? look around dreamviews and try what the people say here, you may be surprized.

I have had many lucid dreams and to me WILDS are not only real, but the best type of LDs. Out of the techniques mentioned, I have become lucid by changing beds, telling myself to become lucid, and other techniques, but to me WILD is the best. It is more lucid and intense, but also more difficult to prep for and actually make happen.
