Small question
I was just wondering if any other people have experienced this strange phenomenon. It seems like the second I become lucid it's like my vision is fading. I assume this is because I'm beginning to wake up has anyone else had this happen? Actually it must be me beginning to wake up because once I engage in movement I begin to seep back into the dream world. Just wondering

I would guess you are right on.
Try to stare at something solid in the dream scene. Something for your eyes to focus on. I use my hands. Many use the ground.
If visual still begins to fade, go to verbal. SHOUT --> LUCIDITY. or what ever you want.

Yeah, this has caused me too lose lucidity more than twice. Its annoying as hell. As soon as your lucid, not even excited, everything starts going black. I've even tried spinning, rubbing hands, sayign affirmations alloud, and spinning and affirmations combined, and it seems to do no good...

I became lucid and for some reason I began to run out of the building I was in while rubbing my hands together. All of a sudden I was totally lucid.

This is what happens when I start to wake up.
My vision blurs over and my eyes start to feel really tired.
Clapping has helped, and beign distracted by something happening elsewhere in the dream, which made me concentrate more.

I Iike that. Clapping. It snaps you out of the inevitable slide into wakefulness. CLAP!.
Then like you said attend your attention to the dream scene.

All great advice, but what do you think I should have done last night? It was my first LD (
), and I was flying at like 80 mph between buildings and stuff when I became lucid. I would have picked a less exciting thing if I could have, but I'll take what I can get heh. The world starts to fade, and I'm like oh no! I start trying to relax and focus on the buildings around me. This works, but then I crash into a building at full speed and everything fades
I tried slowing down but I was so out of control, first time I've flown that fast in a dream I didn't know what to do hehe.
