Woah, cool ^.^
So last night I woke up after a WILD, didn't move, and tried to DEILD, but failed. So I repositioned, tried to WILD again for about 15 minutes, but couldn't. My imagination was still pretty vivid though, so I decided to visualize myself rubbing my hands together, and I fell straight into SP and into a WILD!
Woah, cool ^.^

Thats awesome. Good for you for keeping going.

That sounds cool

*insert generic compliment here*
but seriously
........................and the point is?
| DILD= 5 | DEILD= 2 | MILD= 4 | WILD= 5 |
That he managed to WILD, which is always cool![]()

That does sound cool man, thanks for sharing.
This might help me with this problem I have - Sometimes when I'm trying to WILD I can feel myself slipping into a dream when suddenly I lose focus and snap back to being fully awake again.
It's hard to explain but I have trouble concentrating on keeping the scenery going without thinking about doing it - it's the thought I have about it that makes me wake again. It's irritating. Perhaps imagining rubbing my hands together might help?

maybe its just me that thinks this thread is useless

This sounds like what happens when I try to VILD -- I can't VILD worth crap. What I wrote in my first post is the only time I've *ever* LD'd through any kind of visualization. Have you tried counting or any of the other countless "focus" WILD methods?
reading through the posts, looks like it![]()

Because ignorant, arrogant pricks like yourself don't exist on this forum (at least not torrents of them), so therefore I don't have to be aggressive because people here aren't aggressive towards me. Go back to your sad excuse of a forum and please, leave me the fuck alone.

I dunno what's going on but....

Very nice. And it's really a simple way to reenter dreaming. You can also visualize yourself standing in front of your bedroom's wall then move around touching things. Or just rubbing the wall.
Or you can pretend that you roll out of your body and crawl on the floor to the wall over and over. It's really all the same. But I really like your method and see no reason why it shouldn't work as a standalone method.
Yeah that's awesome, definitely will try tonight.
It seems that sense of touch is the strongest sense which not only is used to prolong a dream, but which also helps to enter the dream more easily.
Or ... You could be pretty lucky and the REM just approached
Still. Good work.

Thanks everyoneI've been experimenting a little since then with this (with WBTB). I've been imagining myself rubbing myself against the wall or sprawling on the floor like an idiot, lol, concentrating on EXACTLY how it feels to the sense of touch. I would say it's just a kind of VILD, but there's no seamless transition into the dream... I still feel the SP and all the sensations like when I WILD by counting, then I end up in my bed, not on the floor lol.
I'm pretty sure it's not random because sometimes, when I try it I feel the exact same thing as entering SP, but just one vibration, like a "spark", and then it stops. And I can get that to happen again if I wait a minute.
I don't know crap about how any of this works, but this is leading me to think that your IRL self and your subconscious self are fighting for control of your brain, and your brain gets bored with just laying there, so it gives focus to the subconscious self. Somebody more qualified should ponder how/if this works and maybe turn it into a technique (ZILD?)

Good insight. At the wery roots of REM sleep, the more you let subconsciousness do what it will, the faster and easier the transition. into WILD. Many people concentrate, but it is not concentration which is vital, but just allowing yourself to be disturbed and accepting it while it is happening.
Wild is a waiting game... Whatever happens from start of the attempt to entering a dream world must be accepted..
Again. Really good point.
