      SP while completely awake?

I'm not exactly sure where this post might belong, but because SP has to do with attaining lucidity I decided to post this here.

I haven't posted in while because I got away from lucid dreaming for a long time. However, for the past few months I have tried going through SP at night just because there is nothing else to do while I am falling asleep. After a while I found that I could in a way start it on command and feel the effects of it right away.

Anyways, today at school I was bored and I got my entire lower body to go into SP while still participating in class and moving my upper body. Is this even possible? It felt exactly how it does when I am actually in bed falling asleep.

You got the definition wrong. SP happens btw. consciousness/unconsciousness. You cannot move any part of your body which gave its meaning (Sleep Paralysis) You feel neither awake nor a sleep. So the feeling you described is just the numbness of your body or part of your body as you described (in class) and it is the same thing which happens while you are falling a sleep.

Thanks for the correction. I read up on SP the other day and I thought this was part of it. Does this numbness lead to SP?
