It sounds like you have hit a dry spell. It is nothing to worry about.
It may be a good idea to take a few days break from LDing.

Well, it's been over 3 weeks since I have had any sort of lucid dream. I've been consistently keeping a dream journal. This has helped me tremendously in being able to recall my dreams. I have down in my journal tons of dream signs and my most reoccurring signs. I have been recalling about 2-4 dreams per night. I tell myself before bed that I will become lucid in my dreams, and that I'll remember my dreams vividly. I do reality checks throughout the day, when something weird happens too.
For some reason it's not working anymore. I had about 4 at the very beginning, but it seems I have hit some road block. Can anyone help me out, and point me in the right direction to start having those amazing lucids again? Any sort of help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

It's tough to say. I think it is a dry spell, but how does one get out of that dry spell? I feel like I'm reaching this awesome point in recall, and I definitely recognize my dream signs in real life. For some odd reason, I can't make the realization any more in my dreams.![]()

Dry spells eventually take care of themselves, the best thing to do is to not get stressed out about it and wait for it to sort itself out.
You could also try a different method, if you haven't already. I find a WBTB almost never fails. Also makesure you're getting enough sleep, the more sleep you have the more chance of becoming lucid.
Consciousness: that annoying time between naps.

Same thing happened to me for a while, it was about 4 weeks of no LDs, but during those 4 weeks I never even attempted a WILD (which are my main methods now, though I still have DILDs somewhat frequently). I started reading a few of my dreams I had written down before I went to bed, and started auto suggesting spread out throughout the day, not just before bed, and then I broke my dry spell.
But our circumstances could be completely different, I'm just saying how I "broke" mine.
But then again who knows whether doing all that in the end even really affected it.

Yea, I think I'm going to try auto-suggestion throughout the day, as well as reading some past dreams everyday. Maybe that will help me a lot. Lucid dreaming is usually on my mind several times a day, and mostly before bed. I think affirmation during the day might help my attitude toward it. It's hard to break a dry spell when you think that your on one so that just makes it even dryer. I'm still working on WILDing though, it's not an easy induction method at first, that's for sure. I appreciate the replies.
