Do you think that putting tape around both of my arms separately would give me a higher percentage of a lucid dream??? I want to have a DILD because I don't want to wake up earlier than I already have to... Do you have any ideas of what I could try to have a lucid dream? I obviously wouldn't want the technique to be painful...

You know what I think I'm going to try this. I want to have more odd sensations.
So far I have:
Wearing tape on my arms
Headband
Soccer Socks (The really big ones)
This may seem a bit excessive but I don't have a partner so there's no one to stop me. If anyone has ideas please tell me.

Sleeping with lower room temperature, or thinner carpets. Make your sleep-temperature different, preferably colder. Just not dangerously cold.
You could also try sleeping different lights, maybe coloured, or just repositioned.
If you want to try something really extreme, try hanging some threads down from your ceiling. Not too long, but just enough to reach your face, perhaps lie a bit on it. That would definitely highten awareness, but might also wake you up![]()

Lost count of how many lucid dreams I've had

None of will know if your idea works unless you try it. I do think it will work though, the uncomfortable feeling of the tape should keep you slightly more conscious increasing your chance of a lucid dream.
Also, living welcome to dreamviews, you can go to the tutorial section or ask on of us for some help.
