      VILD technique

I haven't seen this mentioned here yet, and its a great technique.

A guy called Pedro at the www.ld4all.com forums has developed a technique he calls VILD (Visually Induced Lucid Dream). I have had some sucess with this method, and my sucess rate has increased the more I use it. Pedro himself says he has had almost a 100% success rate. It basically involves creating a dream secerio and "incubating" it in your mind until you fall asleep. For more info on it, check out

Oohhh! Way to go Pedro! I've practiced dream incubation before!

I just read the Wiki entry.
His idea of incorporating a reality check in the dream he is incubating is pure genious.

This is like a cross between MILD and dream incubation, if I understand it correctly. I used to do something quite similar and it worked really well.

Sounds good...but replaying your situation is probably a drag and tiring.

The RC, closing your eye and looking at your nose is pretty helpful.
