What do you do while WBTBing?

I WBTB, and I probably get lucid 100% more than a normal DILD night, but all I really do is get up, do some RCs, and go back to sleep. I think that I could do much better.

What do you guys do during a WBTB, and how often do you get lucid doing these things?

I get up, go pee, write down a dream, do some RCs, stabilize myself with all the senses, drink some water, and meditate back to sleep, keeping my lucid intentions in mind.

Of course, that's when I'm not apathetic. It's so hard to keep focused during the chilly nights, when the fuzzy blankets on your bed keep luring you back into unconsciousness!

It sounds what you are doing is correct. I'd still suggest to meditate back to sleep. Focus especially on the differences between dream and reality.

I know what you mean about the apathy. Lots of times, I only have the will power to pee and do a single RC before collapsing into bed.

Thanks for the meditation idea, I'll try that tonight! How do you stabilize yourself with senses? Just feel, see, and hear things?

Also, about what rate do you get lucid at with WBTB?

Stabilization techniques can vary. What I usually do is take a deep breath and look around my environment, noticing details I would've otherwise overlooked. I then listen for motorous hums and chatter that I've tuned out. I may also rub my hands. If done correctly, it works wonders in dreams.

So basically yeah, feel see, and hear things.

I use the restroom, browse the site alittle bit, do some reality checks, get a small cup of water than go asleep.

I write down my dreams and then read stuff on lucid dreaming from this site. I'm more likely to dream of lucid dreaming after going back to bed, and also more likely to have false awakenings.
