      Whats With The Flying?

Whenever I realise It is a dream, I just decide I'll fly. I flew last night after a hand reality check and The dream faded to black so I rubbed my hands and it would'nt come back and the night before I flew again then just decided to try and wake up. but i don't wnat to do that!

This problem happens a lot, with a person becoming lucid but not really 100% conscious or in control of their behaviors. I have found that making sure to stabilize your dream REALLY helps this problem. Try to discipline yourself, try to make it so that your first thought when you become lucid is, what are my lucid goals, and how can I accomplish them?

A lot of the time, I'd be afraid of waking up and just end up doing something stupid, or something that would make the dream fade out. When I started 'stabilizing' whenever I reality checked during the day, this association carried into my dreams so that when I became lucid I would immediately stabilize the dream, become very mentally awake and aware, and then I would list my dream goals and choose one to attempt. I recommend you try this.

Do you even have goals set up?

For some people, just having a firmly established goal, or two, can work wonders. Especially if it's on your mind throughout the day.

That happens to me alot. It could be that subconsciously you know that flying is the easiest thing for you to do in a dream. Because of that, your mind knows that flying is how you'll get the most enjoyment out of your Lucid Dream.

How much control do you have over other aspect of your dream? Like, can you conjure up people/places, use Telekinesis, and things of that sort? If you can't, it might be that your mind is just trying to make the most of the experience by doing what it knows best.
