Who's used the Flash timer method?

Hey, for the last couple of mornings I've been using the flash timer to try and attain lucidity. If you don't know what I'm talking about it's worthwhile to google saltcube or lucidology if you are interested.

Anyway I found the timer to really help in becoming lucid, although I didn't have any LD's in the past two days, I did wake up a few times in sleep paralysis. Apparently you're meant to stay still and wait it out and fall back asleep when this happens, but I moved and I guess I stuffed up the 'cycle' of reawakening.

I have high hopes for tomorrow morning though.

What are all your thoughts on this timer method?

      i tried it once.

my problem is it takes me to long to get to sleep, so i was hovring way above the sleep threshold. in between each beep, i wouldnt be able to fall asleep

is this a good way to be sure of a LD, or at least somthing fun, eg SP, HH, wierd stuff.

i just want to experience somthing, no matter how short.
would this be good for that?

You should just increase the intervals of the beeps. I was able to get in SP a few times but didn't get any LD's.. I have been smoking a lot of weed lately so I haven't been dreaming much which definitely had a toll on my attempts.

Hey deXtrous, a little late in finding this but I have just stumbled upon it..and it's free, great..I shall deffo give it a try tonight and see what I make of it..will updat if I get anywhere with it, I deffo reccomend this to anyone out there trying , it seems a good thing to try and very easy to work, you can also change the minutes from like 30 min intervals to 60 min intervals if you take a while to nod off..love it

I've tried it a couple times with the program on the android phone. It woke me up too much, and couldn't easily fall back asleep.

I'm planning on trying it again soon, but I've been either sick, or having bad allergies, so sleep isn't as good as it could be this last week.
