hey, i was just curious for those of you who can sucessfully WILD, how long did it take you (conistently practicing) until you were able to achieve vibrations/threshhold effects and how long did it take until you had a full on WILD-induced LD? i know the times vary greatly, i was just wondering in hopes of motivating myself in case it takes me a while.

well, ive been using the counting breaths method and not moving in order to trick my mind into thinking im asleep. ive been getting to a point where i find breathing almost becomes difficult and my whole body goes numb...but then usually something gay happens like someone beeps a carhorn or something and it ruins it. i ordered some silicone earplugs though :-)
you guys might want to check out this DVD i got from www.saltcube.com its pretty cheap and VERY informative. fgor those who arent really strong with visualization and HI, its really helpful. i highly recommend it. after failing with WILD for a while it defintley gave me a new approach.

The only successful WILD i've had (After about 10 times actually trying) only lasted about 5 seconds before I was in the dream, so I don't really recall any sensations or visions I felt or seen, other than just being in my room thinking of WILD, to getting this feeling of literally being jerked into the dream, and then I was there.

dont use the silicone, they are crap. NRR of like 22. get the ultra soft foam ones, with like NRR 33. sure you have to use new ones every few days but they are way more comfortable. Originally Posted by art
