Wild! Didn't know i had it in me!

Wow this morning when I woke up I messed around on the computer and then went back to sleep. I almost immediately started to get a strong buzzing sound in my head and then started to go into sleep paralysis. I panicked and struggled to wake up, and as soon as I did I thought "you idiot, you were about to have a lucid dream." Now that I know I can pretty much do this anytime I want I'm hoping to report some great success on LD's in the very near future!

What you did was sort of a WBTB method. It's very effetctive and easy to do. Check out the tutorial and good luck next time!

You were almost there. Well, sometimes if you do struggle in SP, you'll end up having the types of dreams I have, similar to a FA, but are very realistic, & hard to become LDs. Just look for the signs, like the white robe, the unconscious 2nd of you, etc.
Just keep trying, & don't struggle.

The other night I had a short LD -- I didn't remember this part at first, but just now remembered that I looked at my hands when I realized I was dreaming, and I was missing several fingers!

      WILD

Yeah one of my first LDs was a seemingly effortless WILD after a wake-back-to-bed period. It was actually right after I had awoken from my first induced lucid dream that I remember. I immediately began picturing hypnagogic imagery after I woke up, and after a few seconds I sort of "snapped" into the dream. I don't know why it was so easy that time... It was the only successful WILD I've done.. and it was about 2 weeks ago. I don't remember feeling sleep paralysis, and I was wondering if that's common... Anyway, I pictured a kind of hilly yellow brick road, and that's all I consciously pictured before I was actually dreaming. I couldn't fly for some reason, so I climbed up a building and jumped off. It was sort of a Donkey Kong/Mario world, and I distinctly remember seeing Mario's face in a hedge configuration for some reason. I began to see gorillas leading humans along on leashes... and the humans were in gorilla suits. I thought this was very strange so I got angry at one of the gorillas who happened to be in a police uniform. I pushed him and he shot me in the lower left abdomen. I fell into a pool of water and had a false awakening. I realized it to be false and continued dreaming.

Sorry if this post is kind of boring, it's just my first [post] and I thought it fit the subject matter.
