Well for one when it comes to Relaxation: I have had ADHD all my youth and still a tid bit. So I know all about phisical and mental discomfort. And also I have learned how to deal with it. let me give you some overviewable and valueable tips:
1 - When you didn't lucid dream, despite the effort, It shouldn't at all be a big deal or frustration: You have a whole LIFETIME to train: It's not like you're in a hurry right? Just chill, keep a positive spirit, begin the day with a smile and think: more luck next Night.
2 - Phisically relaxing when you are kinda restless, physically or mentally...usually both, then you should do a simple Relaxation technique. FIRST OF ALL: Don't become to obsessed with ''I've gotta relax'' that thought will only make you more restless.
My Phyical therapist once learned me a very simple but effective relaxing technique:
Try and feel your weight on the matrass, start feeling heavy by focussing on all parts of your body: Feet, Lower Legs, Upper Legs, Torso, arms and eventaully head. By Focussing ALL you attention on one part, totally relaxing it and moving on to the next you will reach extremely relaxed states. Make sure you breathe slowly and don't take very deep breaths. Just go over on low oxigen-use.
3 - Get rid of Impatience: Simply by comming to realise that you don't have a deadline to think about. You have a lifetime of dreaming in which you should take all the time you need to become lucid, no matter how long that may be. It should never be a frustration when you don't succeed. It's just ''Too bad'' but no more, and with this positive mood you'll find it much easier to keep training yourself in becomming lucid. there's no need to get frustrated. If not tonight than perhaps tomorrow night. Don't expect any results in a reasonably soon time. Don't go and ''WAIT'' for it to happen. Just train hard and have no expectations or prejudice about LDing. Just train it and observe whatever happens WHEN it does. cuz it certainly WILL eventually
I cannot tell you ''the secret Revelations of how to lucid dream'' but I can however give you the insight you need to get on the right track. Doesn't mean there you're gunna reach Lucidity in a week, or a month, or 6 months....but eventually you certainly will...Maybe only light lucidity at first like I Experienced. Just Keep reading alot of Insightfull stuff about this subject: that's the best help on Lucid Dreaming you can get.
