I also had a lucid flying experience last night, and I also flew to high, I was really scared that I would reach outer space :]
"I blink my eyes, I scratch my head-
my ship is home, I'm back in bed.
My ships goes sailing every night
and sails home in the morning light."
The really funny thing is that the happend like 50 seconds walking distace from each other, literally, one was on the sidewalk across the street from my school, and one was in front of the school.
Have you tried the WBTB method?
congrats! i've always wanted to induce a lucid dream! almost everyone i have have been DILD's..

You are on your way for sure! I would agree with lucid 83 about the wake back to bed method. Before I even knew what it was, I realized that when I went back to sleep in the morning after waking to early, I had many more lucid dreams then when I slept through the night. I hope you have alot of luck in your future lucid dreams!
