Would that be considered like a False LD instead of a False Awakening? Dreaming about LDing, but not actually having an LD.

Happens to me all the time, and yeah, it's a bloody pain in the bum! I also sometimes do reality checks that indicate I'm awake - e.g. can't breathe through nose etc.

For frustration though, nothing beat last week when I became lucid after trying to turn on my bedside lamp and realising it didn't work...Then waking up five seconds later thanks to my alarm.

Before i get to the topic i just want to say, paragon! Nice name, i remember years ago i use to call myself that. But any way, yeah i hate when that happens, miss oportunities to become lucid.

i had a dream once i was in a mall and i started yelling and runningm thru the mall "I'm having my first LD everyone!!!" then i later awoke very angry because i wasn't actually lucid. i still haven't had my 1st ld...and i've been trying on and off since july!

Thanks topten, I just heard the word for the first time about a month ago and thought "that's nice"! Hope I don't confuse you !!
