Thread: Have you ever had taste or smell play an important part of a dream?

I think this is the first time I've had this happen, but in the dream (it wasn't lucid, by the way) I was working at a hospital of some sort, lots of blood to clean up I believe, I think that was my job. I took a break for lunch and sat at a little round table with 3 other dream-friends (they don't exist in real life) and one of them offered me fritos. I chewed the fritos and tasted them, and could vividely taste exactly what fritos taste like and feel the textures of them. Then I gave back the bag of fritos and said something like "I don't want them, I've never paid attention to the way fritos actually taste, they really aren't that good." I really didn't like them in the dream, and now that I think about it fritos don't taste very good if you focus on them, they are just good to munch on.

This is the first time I even remember tasting/smelling anything in a dream.
