      hmm

So I had a DILD tonight, I flew, did telekenesis and summoned food that I ate..

I can remember I think it probably felt real then but after I woke up (had a FA first so 2 dreams in a row) Im not sure it felt so real? Or at least it doesnt feel like it felt real now.. :/

      Discuss.

I mean does it feel real for you guys`? Even in the morning?

First of all, if you want to create a topic which is discussed, name it properly. noone will ever click a topic whihch is named "mhhh".

To your questions, most of my dreams are very realistic, sometimes I have to do multiple reality checks before starting to fly etc. to get shure again it's a dream because it feels so real. That's what in my opinion makes lucid dreams so amazing.

Different Topic name next time maybe...

I did, and you did too so I guess it's not that bad of a name.

For the questions, I never got to do something in a LD. I just was for two seconds and all I did was spin unvoluntearly and I couldn't stabilized so i can't say anything...

I know what you mean, I have the same problem. I remember in my lucids thinking "wow, this is so life-like", but then when I wake-up it's just a slightly better than normal dream that I controlled at the time. But then I think back to real-life memories and they aren't that vivid either! Lol, maybe that's just me tho...
I did read one time that you have to get straight up after your lucid, or it will feel less real afterwards if you go to sleep after it. Not great if you have your lucid in the middle of the night...
I tend to go back to sleep after my lucid so maybe that's my problem. Also, maybe try saying in the lucid "I will remember this dream as if it was real life upon waking" or words to that effect, hope this helps.

Nope not just you. That's the way I think about it too. I think the only reason real memories sometimes seem more real is because we know that they were, not because the memory itself is any more lifelike than a lucid dream.

Maybe as your feeling the vividness you should just recongnize the feeling so you remember it better or just do something really exciting so it will be easier to remember

No offence or anything but with only a 2 second LD under the belt maybe you should let others with a little more experience give advice? I dunno, just a suggestion, hate to steer omega wrong =\

An old Indian told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, superiority, and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, truth, compassion and faith." The grandson asked him: "Which wolf wins?" He simply replied, "The one you feed."

What's wrong with a newbie giving his advices? I have already been helpful (I think) As you see, I have lots of posts and I have READ a lot of posts from MORE EXPERIENCED people so I'm just talking from what I've read meaning I'm talking from an experienced point of view.

You can read all you want and can think you know all you want, but DOING and APPLYING in the Dream World are completely different. I probably read way more than you before I had my first LD and 90% of that goes down the drain when you're walking around in your newly discovered dream body. It's something that has to be cultivated, refined, experienced yourself, or you will never fully reach a level of conscious competence which you can apply(or give others advice on in that case). You think you know how it works by reading others, but what you don't see is that they have come to their understanding by the actual doing, experiencing, testing. I'm not trying to be condescending or insult you or hurt your ego, I just cringe when I see people giving advice when they've never done it themselves first. It's like all trained professions that require learning, you don't look for surgeons who have read a lot about operations from others, you look for those who have actually done it countless times themselves.

I never said I was good or knowing about it. I actually end lots of my posts by "Oh, and I only had two LDs so I guess I'm not the best one to relie on"

I've learned about this three weeks ago and started two weeks ago and already had two LDs. One of them wasn't so short so I kinda do know how it feels. I already had to use telekinisi and I already made someone appeared and I flied and I tried to grow grass but that failed. I was run over by a bunch of mice and saw someone get eaten by a bunch of cockroach. THat doesn't make me experienced but still, It's not like I had no idea of what a LD is. I didn't just read it, I have also done it.

I think you're prejudicing me without knowing me. I'm not a "know it all". it's just that everytime I read a topic I really want to answer. And I never told someone I was better than them or something.

Sorry if I look like I'm over reacting. i actually don't care so much but I like arguing for some reason. i never I;m the one starting the argument though...

And when I said "I'm talking from an experienced point of view" i didn't mean I was experienced, I meant, it comes from someone experience, that is not me.

I didn't mean I was experienced, I meant that I have read and talked to experienced people so when it comes to say something, I can base myself on what I read experienced people write.

And thanks Golden Son for understanding, its really nice If I really sound like a "know it all" I might have to stop writing though. I guess that my want to not be desagreable is stronger than my will to answer...

That's a really interesting viewpoint...makes you think about reality completely differently! Do you think the more vivid lucid dreams we have, the less vivid we might remember real-life ones? P.s sorry for slightly highjacking the thread, but I didn't want to start a whole new one up to ask the question.

I can't see any reason for false memories to become any more real feeling than the real ones. But people can certainley be convinced of false memories, that's how a lot of hypnotist's acts work (that's hypnosis for show rather than therapy, which are very different.)
