Oh yeah I've heard when that happens time becomes a loop, time becomes a loop, time becomes a loop... (echo). Lol maybe your in a LD right now and you don't even know it![]()
Alright lets just start from the top... LD: I woke up, got up, picked up my lucid journal and jotted down a few dreams I had just had, set it down and went and made a pot of coffee, I then went back to my bed and laid down.
I fell asleep, woke up checked my journal and discovered I had had a false awakening I then laughed a bit for not somehow realizing this. So I jotted down in my journal what had just happened, went and disappointingly found I had to make the coffee all over again. I made it, went back and laid down again and fell asleep.
I woke up, checked my journal and what the hell? There was nothing written for the day. So I had just had a false awakening within a false awakening hahaha, I wrote this down in the journal.. walked to the kitchen noticed the empty pot of coffee.. flipped it off saying fuck you and went and got an apple.
This happens about once a month lol.
My Current LD Goals:

There's a Whole New World On The Other Side

Wo, if it seems so real (that's what I'm inferring), must've been very vivid and realistic?

sig pic made by Mario92Mancon123: LDS is awesome!

I've had this before. It so annoying. This is a rather amusing case though, because you did the same thing over and over so the dream must have been exact if not very similar to the previous one.
Hopefully you aren't still asleep now, and wake up only to find you didn't post this topic.
Totally real, and especially when it's a scary false awakening you feel so relief when you see yourself waking up because it was just a dream.
There's a Whole New World On The Other Side

Hehe. That must be quite annoying. Next time you successfully LD, you should fuck up that coffee pot real bad!
I'll admit, I laughed a little!![]()
I've had this kind of thing happen before, it's extremely annoying! The worst I've had is waking up, getting ready for work and running out the door; only to wake, have to get ready for work and run out the door. So annoying!![]()

haha same here. And to make matters worse, NOTHING goes right when your working. You keep forgetting things/dropping things, people get pissed. Its so stressfulOh, don't even joke! Haha. All too often I've dreamt of doing a full shift a work (and man did it seem like it) and then woken up to have to go to work in RL.
I find that only happens with jobs I don't enjoy doing, though.
Total lucid dreams=88LD goal: Master WILD

haha Just the other week I had a FA I went to school ALL DAY, it seriously felt like the whole day too and then I woke up and had to go again. So tiring lol
This is why you do RC's when you wake up. EVERY TIME!
For thousands of years, human beings had screwed up and and trashed and crapped on this planet, and now history expected me to clean up after everyone.
I have to wash out and flatten my soup cans. And account for every drop of used motor oil. And I have to foot the bill for nuclear waste and buried gasoline tanks and land filled toxic sludge dumped a generation before I was born.
Did you check to make sure that there was ink in your pen?
The easiest dream check to do when you're tired from getting out of bed is turning your neck to see if it can go around 360 degerees.
I can't count the number of times I've forgotten a great dream, thinking I had written it down when in reality I only had a false awakening. Frustration >.<
i had an FA last week but it wasn't as bad as going through a whole day of work or school. damn that must've really sucked
LDs: 0
Hmm, come to think of it, I haven't had a FA in a couple of months.![]()

Hahaha! That was hilarious, Loaf! (lol, almsot called you Toast)
When I was younger, I had an FA that mom woke me up and asked me to print out 1,000 pictures. I then actually woke up, and realized that she didn't say what kind, and I wanted to make sure I heard right (coz I had just "woken up" when she told me). She said somehting like, "No, I didn't say anything like that." "oh, ok."
Imagine her coming home to a stack of pictures... and no more paper![]()

Oops, there goes the new ink cartridge.
I am doing RCs a lot now. Today my bus routes have changed as the bus company took over another bus company of which I use. The bus was completely different and they cut 10 minutes off the journey, which means we skipped a few streets. I sat there on the bus thinking "Oh crap. What if I am asleep and all day I've been working for nothing?" so I did an RC but all was well. I was worried that I was dreaming because it was such a strong change from my usual commute.
I thought RCs were funny at first (during the day) but especially after reading this topic I see the importance.

Now, I have never thought I was dreaming when I wasn't, and have only had one FA. However, I'm sort of afraid that starting LDing will cause me to have more FA, as well as question reality. Is this just different for different people? I don't want to become paranoid, but I don't want to think I'm dreaming and not RC and then do something stupid, or worse, dangerous![]()

Well when you are awake you can often tell the difference between a dream and reality. When you are awake you are often more logical and have a stronger memory. You also have the ability to easily question if you are awake or asleep.
When you are in a dream you do stupid things. You don't think properly. And if you do something stupid, it won't matter. If you have a dream you are at work or school and spend the whole day there you won't really do any proper work anyway and certainly won't wake up tired.
I think you'll be alright.
