      Smile My First Lucid Dream

      Hi all,

So I heard about this lucid dreaming about 2 weeks ago, maybe a little less. Now, before I started to read about this, my dream recall was so bad that I didn't even think I dreamt at all! Even if you do dream every night It was very, very rare that I remembered dreaming let alone experiencing a dream.

The first day when I heard and read about this lucid dreaming I went to bed. The next morning I was actually able to recall a dream! Which was very rare and uncommon for me. I began to keep a dreamlog/dream journal, and after the past last week, I've been able to recall atleast one dream per night! Some times I even recalled 2 or 3. It's been pretty amazing, and I've never been able to do this. And then just last night, I had my first lucid experience Short, but lucid.

      The dream:

The point where I got lucid was during a dream that had been going on for a while, so I will just tell from the point I got lucid. Right, so I remember seeing out of a window in my room, a car pulling out of our drive-way. When the car got out of the drive-way, it just dissapeard. Moments later I found myself waking up, in the dream. I think this must have also been a false awakening. Anyway, so I got out of bed and suddenly it hit me. I was dreaming. Now I had read that most people tend to get too excited during their first LD. But I actually managed to stay calm. Right in the second I became aware that I was dreaming I began to tell myself not to get too excited, and that I should just keep calm. And I actually did. From that point it became clear to me what I wanted to do. Go through a wall Which was about the only thing I had in mind at that point. So I began to walk out of my room and into our hallway(the dream took place in my real house) and stopped right infront of a wall. Without much going on in my head I just reached out to the wall with my hand. But when it hit the wall it just stopped like it would do in real life. I took my hand back, this time telling myself that it was possible for me to get it through. I reached my hand back to the wall and sure enough! It began to go through! It felt like I was pushing it through thick jelly, hehe. Moments later I found myself on the other side of the wall and was now in our kitchen. It was at this point that my dream faded and I woke up.

It was pretty exciting! I've been practicing for almost two weeks now, and finally i got it And I'm pretty happy with it. I sure do hope I'll get another one very soon ^^ hehe.

      Cheers,

      SomeDreamer

Good for you! I find it particularly awesome when doing it in a familiar place. Nothing like summoning zombies right outside your school! Though for some reason the road had one of those bridges that part upwards to let boats through...
Read My Dream Journal for some reason!
