Thread: My First Lucid Dream (that lasts longer than 3 seconds)

Okay, as a kid, i would realise i was dreaming, and think "oh god, something bad is going to happen before i wake up", not realising the possibilities!

About 3 years ago, i found a lot of sites (out of boredom) while looking up Dreams on the internet, as in school whenever anyone used to talk about dreams, they used to be all hyper and shakey and stuff.

I found a page about lucid dreaming, found it very interesting, and researched it. i reality checked and everything for a short while, but got bored of it.

A few weeks back i found this site, but still didn't bother reality checking, or keeping a dream journal.

This morning, i had a false awakening, but instantly noticed something was different. and i said to myself "I'm Dreaming". i looked at my computer screen, then away, then back, and it was different (note: i've never reality checked this way). Then i looked outside of the window (behind the monitor), and everything was dark, and couldn't see any houses or lights. I Said the word "Blue" and outside of the window changed colour. I woke up not too long after this.

I think, how i acheived this lucid dream, was by waking up early. then i done something (like make a drink or summat =P ) then went back to sleep.

I am so pleased to have experianced this =P
