no, i read in dreams a lot actually, If you pay attention to what you are reading it lets you read it i think, the only reason people can read something is just if they are reading out of habit. But then again, everything is not the same for everybody.

well that's a good thing. Most of my lucid dreams eveything is slightly blurry, kind of like if you are nearsighted and aren't wearing glasses.

I once read a manual for a car in perfect typing, and also the words 'porsche' on the back of a car. Usually everything else is distorted, as in rippled.

one time in a dream i threw a handful of sticks at a chain link fence and it spelt out a message then i did it again same thing, different message.

Sometimes when I focous on a word or an object it becomes clearer, because I visualize how it would look in the physical world, and everything in the background will be blurry or disappear completely.
