you mean you wake up before you ever get to do anything outside your house? Or you're unable to walk trough that door, its stuck?
In the last few days, I have had some wilds but it has made me question some of the OBE's that I thought I had.... It has actually now helped me to distinguish between an OBE and a lucid dream and I've realised that I've more LD's than I previously thought.
The other night, I felt myself falling alseep. I quickly realised I was dreaming, got out of bed, walked down the hallway, attempted to jump down the stairs (but was still concerned about my dodgy ankle that I tore the ligaments in 3 yrs ago) and into the hall way.
All pretty boring, and then I freaked myself out, and did my "1,2,3 wake up".
This morning the same happened- started dreaming, got out of bed and kept looking in the mirror loads. There was a problem though, because I seemed to be unable to think of anything to manipulate or do. I suceeded in making a vegetable come out of the carpet....then I had another look in the mirror....!!!
I did sort of manage to jump into something that could only be described as a purple sky - whizzing through, but not getting anywhere and still struggling to think of anything to do etc etc.
I don't so much realise I'm in LD'S and wake myself up through excitement, just get stuck thinking of things to do.
Up until this morning where I jumped into this purple sky thingy, I don't seem to beable to get out of my house when I LD.
Probably some reflection on something within.... any ideas anyone?
Oh, and for any English bods, I did dream that my sexy partner turned into Barry Evans from Eastenders as well. EEEEK![]()
If only I could get out of my house, I might beable to get lost in dream reality!
This reality is like a goldfish bowl. The dreamworld is the same, but larger. It's easy to get lost.

Do you mean that in your dreams you cant leave your house?

if i'm in the middle of a dream and then become aware, i can be anywhere, but it is then the excitement of becoming lucid that makes me wake up.
if i go into a dream fully aware (eg, as i am falling asleep i know i am entering a dream is this called WILD?), it seems to be then i get the problems of just being stuck in my room
to be honest, getting downstairs into my hallway is the furtherest i've ever managed to get when i've been fully lucid throughout...
perhaps i'm still trying to cling onto this 'awake' reality which is affecting my 'dream' reality.

oh you poor thing - Barry from Eastenders. Time you started to manipulate your dream characters a bit more, me thinks! You may not have gone outside the house yet cos you don't feel ready? I'm no expert, but I reckon it'll come with time. Or how about trying harder to wake yourself up inside a non-lucid dream which is set somewhere else?
good luck!
yeh i think you could be right about barry evans!!!
i wondered if the reasons for me not leaving my house when dreaming was because i wasn't ready....
i've started in these last few days doing 'reality checks' in the hope that i'll be able to get myself lucid soon...
