      frequency of dreams

i've been a lucid dreamer for quite some time, and not until watching the movie Waking Life did i realize i had this skill. the last lucid dream i had was about 3 weeks ago when i was finishing up my nights sleep in my boyfriends bed, right next to his window. he had already been up for a couple hours and had gone on a bike ride. well, in my dream, a few minutes before i woke up, i saw out the window that a strange man was carrying my boyfriend's bike and coming into the house and to the room i was in. this person was very very large, and i couldn't make him out clearly, but it was definitly not my boyfriend. but instead of being scared, i told myself that it was actually my boyfriend coming into the house, and that i was dreaming, and that any moment he would come into the room to wake me up. then he did!

early in the fall, i had been having a ton of dreams every nite that i could remember (and usually control), but then i went through a 2 or 3 week spurt where i hardly remembered any dreams.
and now lately i can't even remember having any dreams at nite.

how can i get my dreams back!?
those who dream by day are aware of many things which escape those who dream only by night, unless ofcourse you have LD's.

      Welcome ris rose!

We all go through this sometimes. The best thing you can do is keep a positive attitude and will to yourself every night that you WILL remember.
Also, take a little time before getting out of bed to just lay there and try to remember.

try to experiment with the time you go to sleep. - Try getting to bed half an hour earlier or later. It works well for me.

      Welcome rose.
as ev said, getting more sleep can help, and check out the forum, it has helped all of us.

Call it 'womens intuition', but I think I'm on to something here.

Just look it up on the board. There is a load of information.
This board has helped me get from remembering 1 dream every few days to 4 dreams a night in about a week. It's great. Don't give up.
      I eat babies.
      Seriously.
