A Friends Dream
I stayed at a friends house last night and this morning I woke up and started playing Oblivion. my friend was still asleep so I started bugging him to make him get up. I came up with a dumb Chuck Norris joke and told it to him, a few minutes later he woke up and I told him the joke again, he told me that he was haveing a dream where he was standing in line and I walked up to him and told him the joke then he slaped me and said it was a dumb joke. I though that was pretty cool. O yea and that joke was The first dead end sign was made to warn people that chuck norris lives on that street.

i wouldnt trust that friend as much as you have.... i bet the friend was just trying to get a reaction out of someone, haha but the outside world can influence dreams.

Well, I have been conducting an experiment since about a month ago. What happened was a remix from Mega man 2 bubble man's stage came on, and when that happened, I had a dream I was in a submarine with that music playing. I woke up and found it was on, so I tried it with a really creepy song called 'abandoned mines'. I then had a dream about being left in this closet with ghosts in it. I tried it again with a fight song, but couldn't fall asleep to it. So I find that everytime I fall asleep with Metallica playing (which is often), I have violent dreams about hacking people down on the streets. So I guess I believe it, but I find it only works right before one wakes up, so the latter part of REM.
