I agree with that. I don't think it was as much guardian or dream guide, as a manifestation of your subconscious in the form of a genie in order to assist you in controlling your dream, though that in itself is odd, as generally your subconscious resists giving you control. This conclusion is especially fortified by the fact that it was a genie. Aren't Genies generally the ethereal buff dudes in tunics which pop out of a lamp and give you whatever you with for. But who cares, it's great that someone here has their subconscious on their side, actually helping them in their Lucidity.

NO no no. It wasn't some sort of subconcious guide. It was the mechanism through which my partial lucidity was being active. I wasn't lucid enough to realize that I was the one making the things happen. Save the metaphysical hokum for another forum.
