it looks like a face with tightly shut eyes, laughing... i wouldnt have noticed it was a face if you didnt suggest that.... i thought it was some kind of code or something! enough with the faces!!

I'm a HUGE fan of the spinning technique to retain lucidity in dreams where I feel myself starting to either wake up or lose control.

Like someone above said, get LaBerge's book. He tells you all about the spinning technique. It's very easy to do, and for me, EXTREMELY effective. When you feel yourself losing control, just start spinning your dream body around and around. Once I get going, I like to purposefully fall backwards (it's not like you're gonna get hurt). Just the sensation of extreme motion in my dream makes me instantly "wake up" into another lucid dream. It's like it recharges my lucidity batteries or something. An absolutely AMAZING technique. I'm endlessly grateful to have read that book.
