    prolonging LDs???

has anyone ever tried taking control of their dreams in order to prolong them? i mean... like envisioning a remote control that allows you to pause time, start a new dream, or something?? anything that will keep a dream from fading.

    is this even possible?

I am not sure what you are asking. Are you asking about remaining lucid for longer, or actualy physically extending time (eg 5 minutes real time pass, 1 hour dream time passes)?

If you are looking for how to physically modify the perception of time then I would search around for an old thread about this (which I can't find), and check out this thread: anyone know how to extend time in dreams .

As for staying lucid longer, try stabilization techniques like rubbing hands, spinning, and ZenVortex's LD Stabilizing Technique. There are MANY posts about this, and I would recommend just searching around for more info into these techniques and others, there's a lot.

I would of thought making a dream last for 500 hundred years is kind of weird. You can stay in a dream for an eternity and never wake up but only an hour has passed (that doesnt make proper sence since if its a etternity there wont be a fixed amount of real time but meh) how does that work! It makes my head hurt! LOL
