1. Flying Juice...yeah sometimes i cant go very fast, and i havent figured out how to go faster, i think its a matter of will power.


2. Changing Locations...spinning doesn't work for me, and i havent mastered the ability of transportation, but it seems to work for some people. hint: dont close your eyes when you try to transport, or else you'll wake up.


3.Morphing...this is also a matter of will power, usually if you want an object you will get something else, for instance, I WANT A BUD-ICE, but instead i would get a KEYSTONE. its all a matter of willing the object, or whatever into existance, and exerting control.

4.Writing down dream in a dream... I have done this once in a false awakening, but not purposefully.

-these are just my opinions and what i have gathered, im sure others will be able to offer some more...

Yes, in fact ive never been able to fly fully. i can hover and fly for a short time and jump v. high like in low grav.

How can i get better at instantly changing locations? [/b]

look around 4 something like a letter then try to make ur way 2 a post box, u probably wont find one but you'll be somewhere totally different. if u lookback at the letter it will either not be there or will have morphed into something else. alternatively try spinning, ive not tried it but it meant 2 work.

When i was a kid, i had this re occuring dream that i would fly around my house and 'chase the bad guys' or something like that

and i think they were lucid in a way: i would try to fly by jumping off something, and i would have to concentrate really hard to fly, if not i would fall to the ground.

So i can apply this to my flying abilities today, its a matter of concentration, and it needs to be excersized just like any muscle.

Once you stop trying to fly you will have no problems.

Though when I am under wingpower and not doing the superman I will get tired after a long flight, or if I tax myself going alot faster than I should be going.

Transportation? spinning dosent work for me =/

The most I have been able to do was put my hand on a pane of glass and close my eyes pictureing myself on the other side, when I opened them there I was.

Morphing, yes possible, I can change into a my dragon form when I am fully lucid.

I would like to give a go at being a rock, just to see how it is.

Flying is only a problem for me when in either in a lower plane or panic out (the two combine usually) other wise it should work

Teleportation doesnt really work for me either.Spinning is useless.
I sometimes did teleport but I just created a magical gate, that worked.

Morphing, on a rare occasion I go from my boy astral form into an adult form..like seris dragon form, but I dont do that alot, cuz its useless lol, and I love being a kid..^_^

Being a rock. your LD might last a LONNNNNNNNNNG time, or maybe not, its just that rocks can sit, roll, or sink wherever.

It was just an example of something you could morph and object into existance, or morph a crappy, cheap beer into a Bud Ice.

I use flying for entertainment. It's fun to fly! But if I need to be somewhere, I'll usually teleport.
I cannot seem to keep focused enough to fly to someplace, always get distracted.

Teleportation for me works by focusing my attention on where I want to be. I then experience a kind of cross-fade, like on TV and movies, and I am there.

AHHH that pisses me off, i cannot transport, i tried a week ago and i closed my eyes to do it and i woke up.
Seeker, would you mind expanding if you can, if you can't its alright.
I'm having trouble changing the dream scene also, i think i have a disease.

have you ever cloned yourself and talked to yourself? in the dream world i often come across a second me, or people who said that there was another me doing this or that or another thing....sry this is kinda off topic lol

as for flying i think its more of a matter of knowing you can, rather than willing yourself to do something you beleive to be impossible...the subconcious mind seems to be extremely susceptible to plecibo...im currently doing a social experiment to test it out alittle...basically its a matter of belief...you run out of flying juice because your subconcious mind believes thats how it works...same sorta thing goes for teleportation...dont try to force the place to change, acknowledge the fact that the place will now change...if you truely believe the place is going to now change, accepting that as truth, instead of forcing something you believe to be a lie, it should change...anyway...ill post my findings on the subconcious plecibo thing whenever i get it finished if you care to know the results...

Flying is great! I remember the first time I gave it a try I was in a big, empty warehouse like building. When I went outside the building it was a little different. I was instinctively trying to avoid powerlines and sometimes flew like William Katt in "Greatest American Hero" before he got the instruction manual back.

I've lost juice once and it ticked me off so bad I woke myself up.

what i've learned about flying is just to let it flow, dont try to fly, just fly without thinking about it much.

Sometimes it's hard NOT to think because once I realize I'm lucid, suddenly I get like a thousand thoughts running through my head at once and I do what I can to clear things out and think straight. The first time I tried the flying thing was the first time I also tried to do more while being lucid. Before then when I realized I was dreaming I'd just kinda click my heels and go off on some rampage, but that time I actually stopped and took note of my surroundings and tested things. It was terriific! After that I couldn't help but think that all those other LDs I wasted because I could've been doing a whole lot more! Oh well....chalk one up to learning.

Since I've kinda got the flying thing down, now I can work on the telephone trick that I read about in one of the other threads. I tried it last night and boy was that a trip!

Anyone can teleport. Just open a door and you are there. Works for me at least. I try to get somewhere I want and I open the door and there I am.

I think the teleporting is a better idea if you want to get somewhere fast. I cant say it works 100% because I've only used portals to other parts of the world in non lucid dreams, but its on my to do list.

sometimes i can just fly palces, but other times its hard to get where i want to go
