Thread: Technique on How to Enter a Scene

I've had problems before where I was lucid, but the scene changed and I couldn't enter it. Last night I had a LD and accidently tried a technique that worked perfectly.

In my LD, every now and then the scene goes black and a new one appears, but I am not in the new scene. I've heard of trying to "jump" into it, but that failed me before. So this time I just looked around the landscape, and eventually it was me looking around the landscape. It turned from looking at a picture frame to being in the picture. I just had to realize I was there the whole time, just in first person. I think most my dreams are in third person, so when I don't see myself, I can't do anything. But once I realized that I was just looking in the first person, the dream became third person and it was back to a fun LD!
