im happy for you.
unfortunately my own dream recall has been suffering for about 2 weeks. longest ever. sheesh.
some of you may remember, after talking with me in chat, that i was having real problems with recall.
okay, two nights ago i had a very 'fuzzy' dream, in that the details weren't really clear. I wrote down what i could remember.
the same thing happened night before last, and i did the same thing again yesterday morning, still worrying about my lack of recall, and the vagueness of my dreams.
Well, last night, before i went to bed, i simply told myself quite sternly that i would remember my dreams in full, and i also told myself that i wanted to dream about a particular person. I did this when i realised i was dropping off into sleep, just before i lost conciousness, and i said it out loud, i nearly woke up, but managed not to.
Both of which, i did.
I had not one dream, but three!! talk about going from the sublime to the ridiculous.
Also last night i was hungry, and had a bowl of cereal before bed, i don't know if that made any difference...
Just thought i'd let you all know, that my period of non recall is over!

There's good and evil in each individual fire

Wow, that's kinda spooky. Last night, I also had a bowl of cereal not long before bed (Frosted Mini-Wheats -- Vanilla Cream flavor), and I absolutely shattered my more-than-month-long dry spell for both recall and LDs.Originally posted by irishcream

Of course, I was also trying elements of Gothlark's Confidence and Dream Feeling Induced Lucid Dream method -- I think that helped greatly.

ah, mine was weetabix, and the telling myself that i would remember my dreams seemed to work...
will definitely be trying that in future.
i think i got to the point where i just thought, 'don't be silly, of course you can remember your dreams!'
