I don't see any reason why that should cause you to become more tired then you normally are, are you getting atleast 8+ hours of sleep per night? The more sleep you get the better your dream recall is and the higher your chance of becoming lucid is. The tiredness may just be placebo, if your on some level expecting it to have a effect, you may have tied tiredness to that and lo-and-behold. So all in all, i think its just psychological, or a lack of sleep.
