It's been a few months since I tried this and I am only just starting again. But I gradually improved at dream recal simply by working on reallity checks every day for about 2 weeks aswell as thinking to myself "Next time I dream I will remember it" every time. Also keep saying this to yourself as you are going to sleep.
It took a few days but gradually I improved untill I have atleast one dream to recal every night. I realize now to improve further I need to wake up between dreams in order to remember more. Aswell as starting a dream journal. But it was an ok first step.
