experiment
For example take a 2 hr nap and set your alarm to wake you up. Then snooze it and go back to sleep, then snooze again... you can do it few times. When I do something similar (out of sheer lazyness) I get a lot of mini dreams....
that might help you start off...
Also, setting your alarm at random times during the night gives you a good chance of waking up in the middle of a dream.
