How to think about dreamsigns while dreaming?

      Hi everyone.

I have a problem, when I´m dreaming I always see lots of strange things but i never "stop" and think about what I really saw. I always just accept it and go with the flow.... my question is how to get more aware in my dreams? How to train this in real life?

I´m very new to all this, started with my dreamjournal just 4 days ago. Maybe it comes with time.. I should add that I havn´t discovered any personal dreamsign yet. Although I often see myself in 3 person like in a videogame (even have radar and stuff sometimes ) but as I said before I don´t think " hey I´m OBE:ing, could this really be for real?"... pls help I can´t wait for my first LD

Hi Serpico! I have the same problem. I RARELY become lucid by realizing that something isn't quite right in a dream (which is why the majority of my LDs are via WILDs).

The only thing I can recommend is that you question any and all weird or different occurrences in your waking life by doing reality checks (such as pinching your nose shut and seeing if you can still breath). Also when you do reality checks in your waking life.. really do them like you aren't sure if you're awake or not (don't just go through the motions). Hopefully you'll begin to do reality checks in your dreams as well and, when they fail, you'll realize that your dreaming and become lucid.

Good luck and may you have a LD very soon!

It just takes time and a lot of reality checking to train your mind to recognize these signs. Even then, there is no garuntee. I had a dream last night that was full of one of my signs, equipment failure on my car. Unfortunately, I didn't become lucid

      Just keep trying!

I just started the pinch the ( pinching your nose shut ) thing. Sounds good to me. Can't wait to try it out.
