I'm having some trouble with a couple things...

Alright, first off, I'm new here, but I've been interested in LD's for about three years now. Anyways, I've tried doing WILD, but that never ever worked. I've tried doing the Dream Sign technique before, but, it hasn't completely worked. I've noticed that the text on a page, or my watch, or something simple changes, and I notice I'm in a dream, but almost instantly I forget. The scene goes something like this:

      Me: Oh hey friend!
Friend: Do you have the time?
      *I look at my watch*
Me: Yeah it's... Oh wait! Dream signs!
      *Look at watch again*
      Me: Hey it's a dream!
      Me: Anyways, it's 5:52

Then I wake up sometime later. The problem is, I didn't have time to really do anything to confirm it was a lucid dream (I.E Rubbing hands, observing more surroundings, stuff like that) I've managed to go lucid once or twice before, but the problem with those times is that I only remember parts of it. But that's not the thing. I know I can go lucid, but I'm having a really hard time staying lucid for more than a few seconds. Any advice?

Have the same problem. I can never seem to notice any dream signs. I only realize it when I wake up

Steve Zissou: Son of a bitch, I'm sick of these dolphins.
Steve Zissou: Oh, shit! Swamp leeches. Everybody, check for swamp leeches, and pull them off... Nobody else got hit? I'm the only one? What's the deal?
Steve Zissou:This is the observation bubble... which I thought up in a dream, actually.
