My dream recalling skills have improved

I can remember like about 1 1/2 to 2 dreams per night now but I still can't become lucid in them...

Congrats. Recall's the first step to lucidity!

dragon: Yes it is easy to get lazy about your journal but don't give up! If you do your recall will fade.

Do you do reality checks all the time? You sound like you are where I was the only time I did an rc in a dream. Didn't work though Good luck!
How long have you been keeping a journal? Just since you've joined?

I've been keeping a dream journal since March 3rd. Nd I think I'm getting kind of lazy about writing the dreams down like in the morning. It's weird cuz now when I was dreaming every second till I woke up, and then I just suddenly can't remember what I was dreaming about, and then later in the day, I start to slowly remember the dream I had because I start to see things in my dream, then I write down the dreams in my dream journal.

I'm going through a period like this. I used to get lucid dreams a couple a month(and non-lucids every night, sometimes a couple), but since I've been back at school not one lucid and only 1 dream a week if I'm lucky. I've been home for spring break the past 7 days and already 4 dreams and 1 lucid. but I feel like I'm having to re-teach myself to remember, because they fade so fast. I think if you don't use it, you lose it.

      Yes!

Now I remember dreams from months/years ago. I think it's because I started the dream journal. I'm a big fan of dream journals as I said in this topic.

168 dreams recorded since january; 14 of then were lucids. 8.33% hit rate.
