If this works for you bow down to me as a new lucid god! 8)
Hello everyone. My name is John and I am very much interested in Lucid Dreaming. About 3 years ago I had my one and only Lucid Dream. I still remember it like it was yesterday. I was in a small supermarket walking around. I went through the door and told myself I was dreaming. The dream suddenly became very vivid. It felt real. I saw a red volkswagon car and proceeded to fly over it. I was about 10 feet up and I lost control and I woke up. It was so real and I want to have that feeling of vivid control in all of my dreams. I have read alot of the Lucid Dreams people have on here and I want to be able to have them as wellI tried to have more but never did. I then stopped trying out of frustration.
Back then I had great dream recall and I would remember at least 4 dreams a night. I have recently tried to start having Lucid dreams again but so far nothing. I am trying to work on my dream recall and I am barely remembering one dream a night. Usually I go to bed at about 2:00 and wake up around 11:00 a.m. I have started waking myself up at about 6:30 with my alarm clock but when I wake up I dont remember any dreams.
I want to Lucid dream so bad and I know I have to have better dream recall. Is there any tips to improve dream recall thats worked for you?
Does anyone know how succesful the dreamlight eye wear device are? Perhaps I need something like that to help me?
Thank you and I'm glad I found this place. It has so much information.
John

when im going through a dream recall dry spell, i usually write down the next days date in my dream journal. It kinda sends a message to your subconcious.
Living and Understanding Conciousness In Dreams
Hi. Well, still no real success in my dream recall to report. I have been remembering small tidbits of a few dreams a night but nothing major.
Does stress affect your dreams? I'm under alot of stress lately so perhaps thats my problem. Also lately I have not been falling asleep until about 4:00 am. My alarm wakes me at 7:30 a.m but I dont recall any dreams then. I fall back asleep and it's between the hours of 8:00 to 11:00 is when I seem to dream.
I'll keep trying.
I don't think that stress can cause loss in recall as much as it can change your dreams, but if it does I recommend meditation. A good source for it is The Silva Mind Control Method. (It is for your own mind)

Try some vitmain B-6 (or eat a few bananas) and make sure you're getting plenty of sleep. This is because during the latter stages of sleep (5-6 hours) your REM periods (dreaming) increases from about 10 mins at the beggining of sleep to nearly an hour. Also try telling yourself before bed that you will wake up after a dream and write it down write away.

Yah, I haven't been able to have good dream recall lately too..![]()
