      Thumbs up

Hi everyone! Well, the first day or two I remembered one or two dreams. Since then I have been going to bed at 9pm and waking up at 6 am consistently. This for me is the right amount of sleep. I will wake up at 2am and stay up at 30 min to try and WILD. Since my first lucid I haven't remembered ANY dreams. I have no idea why. I have a pen and a dream diary next to my bed so I can write things down straight away.

Does anyone know why I don't remember? Or how to fix/help it?

      Thankyou so much

To anxious maybe? To expectant of a lucid?

I don't know, my dream recall has faltered lately, so the diary bed side is sorta empty.

I wake up, and let the dream hover in my head for a few seconds, then i grab my diary, and I've forgotten it...

Maybe, but at the moment my dream recall is top priority over lucid. I just don't remember anything even as soon as I wake up

Oh and forgot to add that I have been MILDing before bed and frequently reality check throughout the day (10-12times).

Yeah, that sounds likely. I remember I was trying to LD like 2 weeks, trying so hard, and my recall just went to crap...then I just took a break, and pretty much the next night had an LD. Go figure...

So what I'm saying is, just take a break, don't be so expectant about improving recall/getting an LD.

Okay, thanks for that. I'll try to take a break for a few days!

      Hi 2Frutes,

      Some suggestions/things to think about.

Give yourself permission to remember without expectation...You don't have to but it would be nice. Tell yourself it's ok to remember, and let it happen naturally, without worry or frustration due to some High demand/desire caused by expectation.

Just remember, it's ok to let yourself remember.
