      no dreamsign?

i have had a few lucids but after reading through my journals, i can't seem to find a common dream sign.

sometimes it about my metal gear solid game, but thats not all that common. more of a phase.

sometimes i see my old friends, again not that common and a phase.

i have notice a common appearance of asian people but am i really suppose to rc everytime i see an asian person? again they're not all that common either.

maybe dream sign is not for me. ive counted about 46 lucids so far. maybe just seeing something plain out of place? idk

Well, I've had trillions of dreams, and absolutely nothing in common. The only thing I've noticed is that sometimes after I read a Harry Potter book, I turn into Harry Potter. But that's only after reading the book, and it's not that common either. So I don't know.

I don't think everyone will find specific dreamsigns. I know I haven't been around all that long but my dreams tend to have almost nothing in common.

As far as I know I have never had a dreamsign, at least not something that you see everyday. Sure things have happened within my dream that wasn't ordinary. But there is no common thing that I see that I can take note of and RC on during the day. The oddest thing I saw in a dream was a traffic light on fire, and birds flying out of it. Though I questioned it, I didn't become lucid, I didn't do a reality check! I don't think everyone has dream signs.

I'm too lazy to put anything but the coolest dreams into my journal, though I do try to remember my dreams the moment I wake up. Since I don't really document my dreams I'm probably not going to find a dreamsign very soon. So what I am doing is improvising. I have taken to reality checking each time I go through a door. I haven't gotten to a point where I always will check when I go through a door, but I'm assuming it will work. My main goal is just to scream "reality check" in my mind , so that I can choose how to reality check depending on the circumstances. Can't go trying to fly at the beginning of class.

One thing that's gotten me a lucid so far is reality checking at certain points in the day, such as before I shower and before each meal. This is the same principal as reality checking on a dreamsign and upon waking up. In effect I'm making my own dreamsign.

I thought I didn't have dream signs until I read EWOLD, Laberge teaches you how to catalogue them correctly. EVERYONE has dream signs, you just have to know how to look for them.

You should pick up a copy!
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.

I don't really keep track of specific dream signs. Don't sweat it too much. You may find some recurring themes, or you may not. You should still be able to become lucid. Just be sure you are familiar with your dreams, read through your dream journal, and keep doing reality checks whenever you remember.
