      Nuclear Fission-Like Dream Recall

No, my head doesn't generate billions of joules of energy, it's the term I use for a neat reaction I have notice after dreaming. It seems the more I dream, and recall dreams, the more I remember, and remember about both new dreams I didn't remember at first and really really old dreams that were buried under years and years of memory. I know it seems an unreasonable comparison, nuclear fission, but I find that it is the easiest way to describe this particular idea.

I'm almost sure this whole process is just me becoming more and more aware or the difference between my waking world and my real world, but I just wanted to share this notion and see if the same thing happens with other individuals in this community.

Yes, totally. Especially the thing about remembering dreams I had years ago.

I also get this: I remember a dream from years ago and then I think, "But wait...did I have that last night?" And also I remember a dream from last night and then start thinking I had it years ago.

We have a lot of memories. Some of the memories we remember might be a dream, which we didn't notice before. Who knows?

This is why steadily working at lucid dreaming is far more efficient then instant "techniques".
