The best way to remember your dreams is to wake up every time you have had a dream. It is possible to train yourself to do this.I don't know how hard that is, though.
I have been training my recall since summer 2007, and still find it difficult to recall anything after a full night sleep. -.- Do I need more training before I can do this or what?

That sounds fun.![]()
i use to set the alarm in the middle of the night to get used to get lighter sleep there, and perhaps even wake up to make it easier to recall.
I don't know if this really works, but i do it anyway.
Setting an alarm is probably the best way. I don't like to set early alarms during the week because I have to wake up early for classes. And I find because I get less sleep anyways during the week because I go to sleep late and wake up early, I naturally wake up in the middle of my REM sleep and get better recall. So I guess you could just sleep less too![]()

Last LD - 4/31/08
I have a pretty cool sleep feature that helps me with this.
I simply set my alarm clock and I always wake up minutes before it goes off to avoid listening to it.

B6 vitaminsbut just recently I have been able to remember 4-5 dreams a night, started around 1. Eventually you'll get the hang of it.
Usually once I wake up I got through familiar names/places/events. You'll know when you come across something that might have happened.
For me, it seems the "training to wake up" thing is working. I'm not entirely sure though, since I just started getting into this dreaming stuff.
First few days, i was telling myself to "remember my dreams" before sleeping. Most of those days, I remembered (parts of) the last dream I was having before I woke up.
Yesterday, i told myself to "wake up after each dream and remember it" before sleeping. I woke up three times, each one after more than 6 hours since I went to bed, and was able to write down (parts of) 4 dreams.
I really stated those words verbally to myself for about 15 minutes. Maybe that helps.
