Is anyone here?
Hi, I'm new to this forum and I've been looking over some things about lucid dreamin and I just CAN'T wait till I get my first Lucid Dream!Anyways, my problem is that my dad calls me to wake me up. I can remember my dreams perfectly when I wake up. When I open my eyes... They're all gone. I can't remember what I was thinking about a couple of seconds ago. Does anyone have this problem here?
Is anyone here?
Don't be so impatient! It's only been a hour and a half since you posted!
How about this - When you wake up, keep your eyes closed for a few seconds. Go over the details of your dream in your mind to reaffirm your memory of it. Make yourself remember a few keywords. Then open your eyes and immediately write those keywords and anything else you can remember in your dream journal.
Dream recall takes practice. Just keep plugging away and trying different things.
Sorry for being so impatient. ><. I guess I'm used to forums where there's about 200 people on at the same time. xD The problem I have here is that my dad wakes me up. So I can't just ignore the phone until I have it all written down. I could ask my dad to call me and then call me again in 5 minutes since I won't pick up the first time. Then he'll just think I'm crazy haha!
Hah. I just ate a fortune cookie! Weirdest thing ever. It says:
"Don't be so hasty, prosperity will knock on your door soon."
I hope that means that I'll have Lucid Dreams soon![]()
I think it means to not be so hasty in demanding replies!Originally posted by IceAgeMikey2

Why don't you use an alarm clock? Then you can just smack the snooze button.
I don't know. My parents insist on my dad calling. I'll try talking him into calling like 30 minutes later to make sure the alarm clock woke me up.
Thanks for the help!
Hello IceAgeMikey2,
You could try talking to your father and explaining your situation. I told my father to stop knocking on my door when I have faint music playing in the background, for I would wake from whatever dream I was having. (This being three in the mourning)
