The bullet points is a good idea. There are many times when I only recall parts from here and there and have to piece them together. Thanks for the idea!

I wasn't sure how to express this in my subject entry.
But when I'm recalling, I tend to get bits and pieces here and there, like some detail near the beginning, and then some at the end, and then the middle, and so on. That's why I don't like to write in chronological format, because I get random bits. And instead, I write in bullet form for each main point, and I could just add it on the next bullet so I don't worry about making it all in order.

As I've posted some time ago in a topic where the question was identical to yours: take it one step at a time. Remember the chronology of events and just begin recalling the dreams and events one by one in chronological order. That is what I would advise to do without jumping ahead or such no matter how afraid one might be of losing memories. It works for me when I remember many dreams from the night. I simply start writing them down one by one and memories build up one after another starting from the first like a bridge being built in front of me as I walk across it.
Everyone differs in the way they record their dreams - whatever works for you is fine. I think that as long as you're getting the main points down, and you're recording as many details and thoughts as you can remember, it doesn't really matter what format you use.

Yeah, I'm pretty comfortable with the way I recall. Sometimes, I'll choose to write it in order, or even in a proper essay format. But usually I don't have a need for that, unless I really want to dissect a dream with much meaning to me. But I don't think I'll be asking any more questions on this topic.

Sometimes my dreams are like that. Using bullets is a good idea, to be sure. At least you can still remember them more or less. People are different and some people dream differently than others.

Ususally, the more vivid dreams, I remember in one big block, a whole dream. The less vivid they get, the more likely I am to recall them unchronologically, one segment before another, when it should be after, etc...
