      A Simple Plan?

RC whenever entering/exiting a building or car
RC whenever moving from one level via stairs, etc

Happens all the time in dreams, and only somewhat regularly in RL. Easy to remember, and fun too since it makes you aware of those subtle yet significant changes in your environment that you normally ignore.

I was looking for something that would give me a 1/hr RC and would be fairly logical. I think this will work.

Sounds like a great plan. Should help you do RC often.

Yep agreed, if thats the type of thing you experience often in dreams then its a perfect time to RC.

Well, so far no luck, but then again I keep forgetting to do it, so I just RC randomly throughout the day. I guess I've got too much else going on in my head right now to really concentrate on RCing. Only 1 LD so far since June, and that was before this method came to mind.

It's odd because things keep happening in my dreams that I used to naturally become lucid from. I was one of the lucky ones that never had to learn or try to be lucid, but now that's reversed. I don't know why, but I'll notice in a dream that something is completely out of place, but no longer do I connect it with dreaming. Hell, I'll even think to myself, "oh, I'm dreaming, whatever" and just keep on dreaming away. For instance, last night I got a $750 parking ticket after leaving my car for 30 seconds. I thought, "stupid dream, that doesn't even make sense" and then promptly decided to go to the welfare office and complain, which made even less sense, which I noted, "why am I in the welfare office again? Whatever."

I gotta figure out what changed, this is getting mildly annoying...

      Frustrating!
Maybe you are under a lot of stress, or not sleeping well? When those things are going on it is common to suffer a serious lapse of dream consciousness.

Yeah, it's something. I've got a decent idea of what's up, but I'm trying. At least I'm RCing somewhat regularly, even if it's just random.

At least I had LD-quality vividness in some dreams and LD-quality dream control, just not actual LD.

That is good. I hope you will get whatever is interfeering with your dream consciousness under control. If you need any advice just ask. I'm always happy to help out! Good lukc!

Sigh... Happened again last night. Twice. The second time I just woke myself, my typical "f this nightmare, I'm outta here" thing.

I would be LDing 2-3 times a night if I actually bothered to listen to myself when I thought, "I'm dreaming." I don't really need to RC, since I never do it in the dreams. I'm just naturally aware of what's up, then naturally apathetic. Not completely true to life there.

I'm not sure what to do... Maybe I just need more motivation to go lucid? That seems to be the problem. Maybe it's frustration with the lack of stability in my LDs or something.

I'm having the exact same problem here, too. I see obvious dream signs and even make a comment about how it's a dream or like a dream, and then I move on.
I've also been able to LD without having to learn, but lately... I'm missing out on sometimes several LDs a night because of this.
Last night I woke up from missing another dream sign and ended up WILDing for the first time. So far that's been my only way around it.

I think you're sort of on the verge of having regular lucid dreams though, because you're getting more aware in dreams on such a regular basis. If I wrong then I'm certainly boned.
